Drink Bottles

Cleaning reusable water bottles properly helps prevent mould, bacteria, and odours. We recommend cleaning your water bottle daily to ensure they remain hygienic. Décor recommends handwashing your drink bottle by using a bottle brush and use a straw cleaner for bottles that have small crevices and hard to reach places. If you have a Tritan™ or LDPE plastic drink bottle, these are safe to add to your dishwasher.

Yes, reusable water bottles are safe to use, especially when made from high-quality, food-grade materials like Tritan™, LDPE plastic, stainless steel and glass drink bottles and ensuring the bottles are cleaned regularly. 

Décor’s Tritan™ and LDPE plastic drink bottles are dishwasher safe. For some of the Décor stainless steel bottles, we do not recommend putting in the dishwasher as the outer paint can be damaged. Please refer to the individual product packaging or care instructions for more details on dishwashing instructions.

You can take drink bottles onto a plane; however most international airports require your drink bottle to be empty before going through security. For more information on air travel and drink bottles, check with your local airport.

For health and safety reason, foods and liquids should not be left in the container for longer than 24 hours, as the contents can spoil.
