For some of the Décor stainless steel bottles, we do not recommend putting in the dishwasher as the outer paint can be damaged. Both plastic and stainless steel bottles have their benefits, so determining which is better is based on your needs. 

The benefits of stainless-steel drink bottles are that they are durable, non-toxic, recyclable and do not absorb any flavours or odours. 

The benefits of double wall stainless steel drink bottles is that they have excellent temperature control of the inner liquid, Décor’s double wall stainless steel bottles keep ice & drinks cold for longer. 

The benefits of Tritan™ plastic drink bottles are that they are lightweight, durable, odour resistant and dishwasher safe. These are suitable for larger sizes that carry more water and a fantastic option for kids. 

All Décor products are BPA free including all stainless-steel bottles.

Only certain double wall drink bottles you can add hot water to. We suggest referring to the care and usage guide of each product.

Stainless steel bottles can rust but only under extreme conditions. This can happen when you bottle has been left with water inside for an extended period of time such as left in a hot car for days on end. The best ways to prevent rust is to empty and dry your bottle after use. If you do encounter minor rust, we suggest scrubbing it off gently with baking soda and a soft bristle brush. For extreme cases, discontinue use. 

For health and safety reason, foods and liquids should not be left in the container for longer than 24 hours, as the contents can spoil.
