Some consider glass to be a healthier choice as glass doesn’tcontain harmful chemicals like BPA or phthalates, glass will not leach substances into your food, even when heated or used with acidic foods (like tomato sauce or citrus).

Décor’s glass containers are microwave and dishwasher safe, some of the glass bases are oven safe (please refer to packaging or icons on the base for oven-safe glass products). Décor’s glass containers are stain and odour resistant, making them a breeze to clean! 

Both Décor’s plastic and glass containers have benefits. 

Décor glass containers are non-porous, don’t absorb flavours or odours, microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher-safe, and free from chemicals like BPA. Glass containers are great for meal prepping and oven to table cooking.  

Décor uses BPA Free Plastic(polypropylene) which is lightweight, affordable, durable, have the ability to nest into each other and available in many shapes and sizes. Tellfresh, Fresh Seal Clips, Vent & Seal, Microsafe containers are suitable for lunches on the go, kid’s meals and batch cooking.  

Many of Décor’sglass containers are suitable for freezer use (please refer to packaging or care instructions on individual items). You can safely store your glass containers in the freezer and they stack well for convenient storage! After freezing, let the glass storer rest for a few minutes before removing the lid and thaw to room temperature before using in microwave or oven. For best results, we suggest a slow defrost over 24 hours.

Décor’s glass storers are suitable for microwave use. If using Thermoglass™ or Vent & Seal™ products, ensure that the vent is open on the lid. Do not heat an empty or nearly empty storer in the microwave.
