Pinwheel Pizza Crusts
Make use of your discarded bread crusts and eliminate waste by turning them into these delicious Pinwheel Pizza Crusts your kids will love. This recipe is super quick and delicious and makes a great snack.
SERVES 4
Ingredients:
- 8 Leftover Bread Crusts
- ¼ cup Tomato Paste
- 2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1/4 cup Bacon, diced
- ½ cup Tasty Cheese, grated
- Fresh Chives, finely chopped to serve
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Roll crusts into a pinwheel and place into a greased muffin tin. Press down the pinwheel with a glass or spoon.
- In a small bowl combine tomato paste and dried herbs.
- Top each pinwheel with a thin layer of tomato paste.
- Add bacon on top of tomato paste and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is golden and bread is crusty.
- Serve sprinkled with fresh chives.
- Store in your Tellfresh container for up to 5 days.
