
Pastry Pizza
Treat your family to a fun and delicious twist on pizza with a crispy, buttery pastry base that's sure to make every bite a hit!
Servings: 8 Snack Sized Slices
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 1 Egg, beaten
- ¼ cup Tomato Paste
Topping Suggestions
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- 2 Mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup Mozzarella. sliced
- Fresh Basil Leaves
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking tray.
- Lay out pastry onto tray and cut a pastry border around the perimeter (like a picture frame, ensuring not to cut all the way through). Brush egg over pastry.
- For a crunchy base, bake pastry like this by itself for 8 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven, top with tomato paste and toppings of your choice (suggestions above).
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted and pastry is golden.
- Top with fresh basil leaves.
- Cut into portions and store in your Décor container ready for snacking.
