Baked Pears

Keep reading for this winter-warming baked pear recipe using our Thermoglass baking dishes that is not only oven-proof but dishwasher-proof and fridge suitable!


Serves: 2

Cooking time: 40 minutes

  • 2 large pears halved lengthwise and cored
  • 125ml maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Pistachios and vanilla ice cream to serve


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C° and line a baking tray.
  2. Add maple syrup, melted butter, cinnamon and vanilla essence to Thermoglass™ Realseal™ Baking Dish. Stir to coat the dish evenly.
  3. Place pears cut side down in dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with vanilla ice-cream and pistachios.
