Potato Mac & Cheese
Cold nights call for comfort food done right. This winter-ready Potato Mac & Cheese bake is the ultimate easy weeknight meal. Perfectly creamy, cheesy, and layered with mashed potato! Made and served straight in your Décor Thermoglass container, it’s comfort food with zero fuss.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 4 Potatoes, halved
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Chives, chopped
- 500g Macaroni Pasta
- 2/3 cup Milk
- ½ Lemon, juiced
- 2 tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- ½ cup Tasty Cheese, grated
METHOD
- Boil potatoes in saucepan for 15 minutes or until softened. Drain, add half the butter and half the salt, mash until smooth. Stir in chives and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Cook pasta according to packet instructions, drain and pour into Décor Thermoglass container.
- Add milk, lemon, remaining butter, remaining salt and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
- Add mashed potato on top of pasta and smooth out to create a layer. Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden.
