Pizza Dough

Makes 8 slices
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Plain Flour
- 1 tbsp Raw Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 7g sachet Dried Yeast
- 1 cup Warm Water
Toppings:
- Tomato Paste
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Fresh Basil Leaves
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, combine plain flour, raw sugar, salt, and dried yeast.
- Create a well in the center of the mixture and add the warm water. Using your hands or a spatula, mix the ingredients until combined.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until the dough feels smooth (sprinkle more flour if the dough is too sticky). Form into a ball and let it rest in a covered bowl for 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to form a round pizza shape.
- Place on a lined baking tray or pizza stone.
- Top with tomato paste and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the pizza base is crispy and the cheese has melted.
- Serve with fresh basil leaves.
