Pizza Dough

There’s nothing quite like the joy of homemade pizza but who says making pizza at home has to be complicated? With our fast pizza dough recipe, you’ll have a delicious base ready in no time, perfect for crafting your favourite combinations.

Whether it’s a midweek dinner solution or a fun family cooking project, this easy pizza dough recipe proves that homemade doesn’t have to mean time-consuming.  Let’s get started!


Makes 8 slices


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Raw Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 7g sachet Dried Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water

Toppings:

  • Tomato Paste
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Basil Leaves


Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine plain flour, raw sugar, salt, and dried yeast.
  3. Create a well in the center of the mixture and add the warm water. Using your hands or a spatula, mix the ingredients until combined.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until the dough feels smooth (sprinkle more flour if the dough is too sticky). Form into a ball and let it rest in a covered bowl for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to form a round pizza shape.
  6. Place on a lined baking tray or pizza stone.
  7. Top with tomato paste and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the pizza base is crispy and the cheese has melted.
  9. Serve with fresh basil leaves.
