Chai Latte

Ingredients

Cooking time: 10 minutes
- 3 cups milk of your choice
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
Method
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once it simmers, turn off the heat, add the tea bags, and let steep for 4 to 5 minutes before removing them.
- Turn the heat back up to medium heat, and add the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, vanilla, and maple syrup. Whisk everything together until the chai tea is hot.
- Pour the tea into your cup and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon!
